The Company has three key guiding principles:
Transparency:
- Tracking all energy materials through the supply chain to ensure known material content
and cleanliness. We will make this data accessible to retail end users to other constituents,
including NGOs.
- Being able to trace clean content is a key part to 21st century conscientious consumption.
Institutionalizing this standard is key to scaling.
Economic equity:
- Bring greater prosperity to the communities endowed by the natural resources of energy
metals.
- Expand the labor base and higher-wage jobs through onshoring beneficiation and ensuring
that the local workforce is fully represented.
- Pay taxes in the jurisdiction where the economic activity occurs, not in low-tax offshore
jurisdictions.
Social inclusion:
- IEM is only as strong as the members of its community. We will work with, including
providing financing for, world-class partners to ensure the provision of education,
healthcare, affordable housing, and clean water.
